Zebra Wins Prestigious Anna Whitehead Award at Annual BIID Awards Ceremony
We recently attended the BIID awards, held at Drapers Hall, London and were delighted that our recent project for Neom Organics was highly commended in the Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland category and won the Anna Whitehouse Award for it’s sustainability merits.
As part of the BIID Awards, the Anna Whitehead Prize is awarded for the best achievement in sustainable interior design, named in honour of late BIID member and sustainability champion, interior designer Anna Whitehead.
The judges, captivated by this retail model, expressed their hopes for it to become the gold standard in all retail designs, setting a remarkable precedent for sustainable practices in the industry.
The design ethos of Neom Organics echoes a commitment to sustainability at its core. This innovative project seamlessly integrates eco-friendly materials, including recycled plastic worktops, lime-based clay render, and FSC-certified timber flooring, all fueled by 100% renewable energy sources.
Every detail, from the furniture layout to the choice of materials, embodies a thoughtful approach focused on reusability and efficient material use. This conscientious design not only reflects a dedication to environmental responsibility but also emphasizes adaptability for future relocations of the design.
Thank you to Neom organics for entrusting us with your brand and to Jungle Fitout Collective for bringing this project vision to life, in a sustainable way.
